It's located roughly 20-25 minutes from the airport and ride wasn't so bad. The surrounding area isn't the greatest however.not much to see or walk to in the area. I'm actually debating on whether to come back in December for the Chrisette Michelle concert. It seems as tough they attract some pretty good acts also. The venue was very nice and I would say that there were no bad seats in the house. The concert I attended was at The Soundbar located in the hotel. The Motor City is as nice as the nicer Vegas hotels IMO.
I compare this hotel to the 4 star hotel in Vegas. This hotel looks very nice the inside is clean, but the rooms really shine. The concert was amazing (Joss Stone), but the hotel was also very nice.better than I was expecting honestly. I was in Detroit attending a concert at this hotel on September 11, 2014.
